Rachel Sayen-Tolman, owner and operator, received her BBA in Business Finance from Henderson State University along with certification from the University of Alaska Fairbanks and the Foraker Group in Non-Profit Management. She also has specialized training and continuing education earned in the areas of Federal Income Tax, Notary Law, Governmental Accounting Systems, Grant Management and Writing, Proposal Writing, Abra Suite Payroll & Intermediate Crystal Reports, HR Law, and Workers' Comp Regulations. Rachel has also earned the right to practice before the Internal Revenue Service as an IRS "Enrolled Agent".
She is in charge of general bookkeeping for 15 small businesses and 3 non-profit organizations with duties ranging from monthly reconciliation, adjusting journal entries, preparation of financial statements, payroll management, set-up of computerized bookkeeping systems using QuickBooks, financial management, planning, forecasting and consultation. Rachel also provides onsite trainings for non-profit and for-profit Board of Directors. She has 22 years of experience in full charge bookkeeping and tax preparation.
Danielle Sayen-Kitchen is a graduate of Wasilla High School. She has credits earned toward an Associate Degree in Business Accounting. She has 3 years combined work experience with Sayen Family Bookkeeping & Tax Service. She has recently attended classes for QuickBooks, Understanding Financial Statements, and Payroll Law. She will be working toward certification as an Administrative Professional.
Karrie Moore is a native to Alaska, born and raised in the Last Frontier. She has worked in many locations around the state in various fields ranging from seafood processing in Kodiak to PCA work in the Mat-Su Valley, jet fuel security in Whittier to Alaska State public service work in Wasilla. She studied Business Accounting at Charter College. She is currently studying to take the Registered Tax Return Preparer (RTRP) exam with the Internal Revenue Service.
